Adorable 1950's diner, friendly staff, good food, average pricing. We dined in and watched the staff expedite an uncountable amount of door dash/pick up orders. It appears the Neptune diner is a staple in the community as well as those visiting tourists to Lancaster. We would absolutely go back. Great experience!

i got a meat lovers omelet it was good. Here's the rest of the review: https://travelmystery.blogspot.com/2024/04/neptune-diner.html

Mariah was our very bubbly waitress at the very unassuming Neptune Diner. Housed in a circa 1950's retro stainless steel rail car restaurant. We arrived with a group of 10 and quickly found seating along the back wall . Don't let looks deceive you! The extensive menu is loaded with wonderfully innovative items! Our group ordered a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items including a stack of chocolate peanut butter pancakes, chicken tender salad with avocado ranch dressing, and a Porky Pig sandwich (bbq brisket on a lovely roll). This is sure to be on our "favorites " list whenever we return to Lancaster PA!

Great experience and breakfast. I had the Chorizo Hash Omelet with the Raisin Toast. Good size portion, but not quite so much that you have to take any home (which was good as I was on a road trip). The Raisin Toast was more of a desert as it seemed to have a sugary crust to it... quite tasty. The service was great and I really enjoyed the venue. While it did not have a lot of seating, it did not feel crowded.

Meal was prompt and fresh. While regular diner, surely had a homey feel Ms. Anya was truly sweet.

Whenever we travel we like to try the local cuisine. This place was great! The service & food was awesome! If you leave hungry it will be your own fault . The portions are large. I got a pigs in a blanket ( brisket & cheese) omelette with the bbq sauce on the side. We had a side of scrapple and ham roll to try. The ham roll was really good. It taste like bologna. The scrapple. I can say I have tried Go by and enjoy some home cooking & friendly service. Enjoy!!!

After two visits, I feel confident giving Neptune four stars! The place is small and cozy, like an old-school diner. The floor and menus are a bit tacky, but I'm assuming that's because they deal in foods that get covered in syrup. My first visit, I got a Belgian waffle with blueberries and was very pleased with it. Another person at our table got the waffle with apples, and she said it tasted like apple pie filling but better with lots of cinnamon. On my second visit, I got eggs, toast, potatoes, and bacon. My bacon was very fatty, but cooked well, not too slimy. My dad got corned beef and gravy on home fries and really enjoyed that. At both visits, everyone agreed that their food was good, hearty food. If you're looking for new and innovative takes on breakfast and lunch, this isn't it. But if you're looking for tasty, standard diner fare, you're in the right place. The prices are very fair and the service is good. Both times I visited, we had five people, which is a tight squeeze in their booths, and the wait staff was very accommodating to push tables together. When one of our party ordered the wrong fruit juice (because she's 5 and said "orange" but meant "apple,") the waitress brought a new juice immediately. Service was also pretty quick!

Very nice staff and good service. Portions were huge. Had the gyro omelet and it was really great!
